Neville wants England Success
The 40 year old English manager of Valencia, Gary Neville is hoping that Roy Hodgson can guide the English national football team to great feats and not seeing the national side failing just how they did a few years ago during the: ‘Golden Generation’
The ‘Golden Generation’ was the nickname that was given to the English squad that had big name players such as: Steven Gerrard, Paul Scholes, David Beckham, Frank Lampard, Michael Owen, Rio Ferdinand and John Terry. Gary Neville also played in this popular team but even with all of these skillful players, the national team failed to live up to the expectations of the fans and of the media as the squad couldn’t really lift any major piece of silverware.
Gary Neville is hoping and wishing that history doesn’t repeat itself with Roy Hodgson. Hodgson has a big number of including the likes of: Wayne Rooney, Jamie Vardy, Ross Barkley, Harry Kane, Theo Walcott and the list goes on.
By taking a glance at this team, there are high hopes that England has a solid team that can do great things and Gary Neville is confident that they will be able to start creating history and begin winning major competitions.
“There will come a point where we get that generation to succeed. On our day we can beat anyone. Then the question is can we sustain it over a tournament? That remains to be seen. Roy picks the players but I have strong belief in them. If we can keep this group together, this can become ‘the’ generation.” Valencia’s Gary Neville said.
England are currently the 5th favourites to take the Euro 2016 title – though you cna get better odds by taking advantage of one Ladbrokes promo that is offering all teams outside the top three at odds of 25/1.
Neville will help out Roy Hodgson as the former player of Manchester United is part of the coaching staff of the English national football team and the pressure is on them to utilize all of their players in the best possible way and start winning titles.
